We see them every day, splashed everywhere, on the TV, in
newspapers, magazines on billboards, the internet even on the
products that we buy. I know we don't need them
or want them, but...
Since man first evolved there have been adverts of one sort or
another. As far back as the Stone Age and our Neanderthal
relatives, we see their adverts still, on the walls of caves and
rocks and scattered on the floor in many countries around the
world.
The local butcher painted pictures of his products... Buffalo,
Bison, Antelope and more, the only thing was that the shops were
all self-service so the butchers pictures only told you what you
could have not what he had, and back then if you wanted some sort
of tool made, you looked for a pile of stone chippings somewhere
nearby there would be a tool maker who would, for the price of a
chicken leg fashion you a wonderful flint knife with a bone handle
or a few arrow heads, and some things haven't
changed and are still advertised in the same way to this day, a
scantily clad vixen walking along the path making those come on
eyes at you, can only mean one thing... She wants your meet and
tools.
Adverts are here to stay.... get used to it.
